Does anything look familiar?

Friday, July 27th, 2007

The new version of ZYB is keeping some good old habits in place. One of them is the phone dashbord that most of our users are very familiar with and, according to the feedback we get, also quite happy with.

That’s why we decided not to make any revolutionising changes in the way we present the phone dashboard. As you can see from the keyhole-size preview below, it looks quite familiar in the new version, but somewhat better (in our own humble opinion).

What the preview doesn’t show is that on the new version users will have several new options to interact with friends using their phone and the new ZYB features.

What do we mean by that?  Well, wait and see for yourself.

The first keyhole-size sneak preview of the new ZYB

The launch of the new version of ZYB is getting very, very close. The new features are all looking great and we just can’t wait to show them you!

So here you have the first small preview of what is to come! The screenshots are taken from the ZYB profile of Miss Johnson, one of the persona’s who has followed us throughout the whole designprocess. (Thank you Miss Johnson!)

Until the new ZYB is launched, we will be sneaking out some more keyhole-size previews of how thing will look.

New ZYB, soon to be launched!

These past few months have been extremely busy for us here at ZYB. We have all been working very hard to get the brand new version of ZYB ready for our trusty users, and the rest of the world.

ZYB as you know it now, is a backup solution for your mobile. It’s the best one out there, at least if you ask us or our users, but it is still just a backup. The new service is much more than that.

Right now, we have 7,783,075 contacts backed up on ZYB. 7,783,075 contacts that are stored in a secured location, but for the most part, only stored. At ZYB, we have always intended to bring the data to life. Our vision has always been to build a social network, centered around your mobile, and the contacts, calendar and photos in it. In the new version of ZYB, we have done just that.

At the moment, the new version is in private beta, and is being tested by our friends and family. If it all goes well, we will be releasing it to the public very soon.

I can’t wait :)
