The new ZYB is live!

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

This is it! The new version of ZYB is live, so go check it out and come back to read the rest of this post later.

To be honest the new version has been live for some time now, but we decided to launch “silently” and we have been in “silent mode” ever since. Why we did it? Because we wanted to get immediate feedback from a smaller audience before we invited everyone in. We quickly got some great feedback, made a few updates, and now you’re all invited!

So what’s new about the new version? Everything and nothing really. ZYB is still the place to store your phone content online. But we have always recognised that what you store on ZYB is far from just some random bunch of contact, calendar events and text messages.

Your phone’s address book contains the names and numbers of the people you know from real life, and now ZYB can connect you to your real friends and family and help you keep in touch with the people who matter the most to you.

This also means that the information you store on ZYB is no longer static. By connecting to friends you get their updated contact details right back to your phone and on zyb.com you can track what they are up to.

In other words, the content on your phone is not just stored on ZYB, it’s brought to life, as you connect it to the other sources, and share your mobile data with friends.
